Australian Open Esports League
The Australian Open Esports League, or AOEL, is a local esports tournament hosted on twitch.tv, which pitted local talent against itself in a series of video games. They were determined to reach as wide an audience as possible, and so decided to promote through Royale.
Through a series of promotional videos made to promote the league, including a popular “Meet the Captains” series and some works outlining the rules and structure of the tournament, we were able to generate a significant amount of hype around it, and achieved over 500 views on their very first stream.
